Why "Resitherm" ?

For electrothermal pre-stressing no media is needed inside of the pipe. That means the pipe line remains dry (no corrosion) and no valves and blind flanges are needed.
The friction forces during the preheating process are reduced because of the lower weight of the pipe line. Therefore, a refilling of the trench up to the top of the pipe before pre-stressing is allowed.

The preheating itself takes place over night in order not to hinder the construction course. Upon achievement of the desired preheating temperature the refilling of the trench can start immediately.

There are no costs for compensator elements nor valves as well as their installation expenditure. The amount of welding seems, expansion bellows and u-bends can be reduced clearly.
