What is"Resitherm" ?

RESITHERM stands for "electrothermal pre-stressing". In short: Resistance heating.

A defined current is sent through the steel pipe. It heats up evenly the whole pipe length of for instance 2.000 trench meters / DN 800.

RESITHERM pre-stressing machines can be connected in a modular way in order to arrange the shortest pre-heating time for each diameter and to make possible the best pre-stressing technology for the individual construction site condition.

The electronic in use with self-controlling systems guarantees a safe pre-stressing process. Application software allows a precise forecast of the pre-heating time and lengthening of the pipe.
